Hotel Magnolia, Casamicciola, Island of Ischia

The Hotel Magnolia is on the island of Ischia. The island is volcanic and is genetically linked to the Campi Flegrei region (Phlegraean Fields). It has jagged, picturesque coastlines. The main attractions of the island, which help to make it a popular tourist destination, are its pleasant climate, scenery, thermal springs, greenery and marine beaches. The hotel is located in the municipality of Casamicciola Terme: it is a famous health spa, tourist destination, thermal and bathing resort, and is situated on the northern coast of the island: it is made up of a modern part, positioned in a small harbour, and a high part on the hills behind, among rich vegetation. And it is in the latter that the Hotel Magnolia is to be found; an oasis of tranquillity between the mountain and the sea, at 1,300 metres from the main centre, the sea and the beaches. At just 50 metres from the Piazza Maio district, there is a bus stop offering three lines that link all the island's main centres, beaches and thermal parks. Its fantastic and enviable panoramic position means that you can admire the gulf of Naples, from Vesuvius to the Circeo promontory. Not to mention the splendid view of mount Epomeo, the marvellous sunset and enchanting evening lights - all combining to make a cocktail to be enjoyed and photographed.
